CONVEYANCER FEE: Our office uses a conveyancing program that charges a $249.00 + HST document licensing fee per file opened. Please note that this amount is subject to change.

 

TITLE INSURANCE: When financing a purchase and/or when refinancing, title insurance is now mandatory and is a bank requirement. For premiums above $500,000.00, please contact our office.

 

ONTARIO REGISTRATION COSTS: The province of Ontario provides electronic registration of land-related documents, such as a transfers or mortgages. The province of Ontario currently charges approximately $82.00 per electronic land registration.

 

ONTARIO LAND TRANSFER TAX: Land Transfer Tax is a tax levied by the Province of Ontario whenever land is transferred from one person to another (except in a few circumstances).
